Are Anti Aging Machines Better Than Traditional Anti Aging Facials?
Beauty Salons and Day Spas have become more like Medi Spas with the reliance on anti aging machines to perform their anti aging facials. This article examines whether or not this is a good thing.High tech downaging equipment range from microdermabrasion equipment, IPL, high frequency, light and LEDs to more sophisticated lasers, all promising to provide quick solutions to a variety of facial skin issues. In many establishments, facial by machine has overtaken the traditional downaging facial routine using products, serums and anti wrinkle creams. So with this reliance of high tech equipment, is it really doing us any good?In the years I ran my Spa I saw hundreds of women and a fair few men as well. I used anti aging machines as well as organic products that helped with the downaging of the facial skin. My observation was that, those people who used a good skin care routine and had healthy skin, responded better to the facials where equipment was used.Time and time again I saw much more immediate results on people when they had taken care of their skin, and I used good wholesome products with the machine treatments as well, which received even better results. For those not using a good skin care regime or with unhealthy skin, the results of using equipment were more gradual and not as dramatic. It would take longer to repair the skin, and once the skin was restored to health, then you could see results. It would therefore be my advice to anyone looking at getting a facial with any of the high tech equipment, to spend a month of using good, nutrient rich facial products first to build up the health of the skin. Otherwise, you could be wasting a lot of money as high tech facials do not come cheap. So I would say the traditional anti aging facial and anti aging machines go hand in hand to produce the best results for your skin.
